Honor Above All

The debut novel, Honor Above All, is the first novel in a series, set in 1882 Chicago and is available wherever great books are sold.

October 1882 – Pinkerton Agent Garrett Lyons arrives in Chicago to uncover the truth behind the death of his partner. With his friends – architect. Louis Sullivan and Charlotte Reed, former girlfriend who runs an upscale poker game for the city’s elite – he must solve a larger mystery involving counterfeit government bonds. Lyons becomes caught up in architectural competition to build Chicago’s first skyscraper.

Rich with historical details that bring 1880 Chicago to life, this novel will appeal equally to mystery fans as well as history buffs and architecture enthusiasts.

“Honor Above All” started with a short story titled, The Patrol”. It was published in a now out of print magazine, Louis L’Amour Western Fiction.

“Honor Above All” has been named a Silver Award Winner in the Fiction Mystery & Suspense category of the Ben Franklin Awards given by the IBPA (Independent Book Publishers Association) and a finalist for the Gold Award!
